Let's Get To Know Each Other

I’m Danny, a Google certified UX Designer and a Webflow certified Developer. I kind of got into designing websites as a hobby, just for fun. My brother is a UX researcher and turned me on to the field of UX design. I immediately fell in love with it. The challenge of creating something was what really pulled me in. Being able to take a concept in my mind and turn it into pixels on a screen is still something that I find fascinating and highly rewarding.

But as a creator, it bothered me that I couldn’t finish the process. As a designer only, I needed someone else to develop my designs into live websites. That meant I had to give up total control once a design was done. Then I was introduced to Webflow, a no-code development platform that allowed people like me, designers with little knowledge of coding, to actually develop their designs into live sites.

I soaked up as much information as I could about Webflow development and taught myself how to build. Eventually I was able to master it. At that point I felt like I had a renewed sense of purpose - I could now make a website from start to finish, design to launch, all by myself. So here I am today, a certified Webflow developer still loving every minute of creating designs and turning them into live sites. I love what I do, and I would love to work with you on your web design project!

What Are The Ingredients That Make Success?

I don’t believe there is a specific process to follow that will lead to success in any facet of life. I think success is a product of a mixture of characteristics, kind of like a recipe for a great pizza. In the world of web design and development, I have found that the recipe for success consists of 4 main ingredients.

Drive To Succeed And Passion For What You Do

When I began my journey to become a web designer, I was full of drive and passion. Along the way there were some bumps and hurdles, but I never lost that desire to succeed or the passion to produce my best work. Giving up was never an option, and I go to work every day with that mentality which allows me to deliver only my very best for my clients. I take great pride in my work and if my clients are not happy, I am not satisfied.

Desire To Learn, And Never Stop Learning

This one is especially true in the world of web design and development. Technology is constantly changing. Sitting still is not an option. I am always working to learn new tools, skills, and competencies as a designer/developer. I don't believe in getting comfortable because the moment you do, you find yourself behind. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new and add to my skillset.

Excellent Communication, Both With Colleagues And Clients

Communication is essential in any business and web design and development is no exception. Whether I’m communicating with clients or colleagues, I take great pride in my communication skills. My ability to clearly communicate and receive communication makes the work easier by avoiding time wasted on errors and re-work. I build relationships that foster effective, two-way communication, because I want my clients and colleagues to feel free to offer their opinions, suggestions, and advice at all times.

A Humble Attitude And A Willingness To Help Others

The second you get arrogant, you fall behind. I stay humble because I know there is always something new to learn, and someone better than me. I won’t claim to be the best designer/developer. All I can do is promise that you will get my very best effort every single time you work with me. Along with that, I love to help others any way I can. The world of web design is built on a community of designers and developers who love to share their knowledge with others and I have certainly benefited from that, so I'm always willing to help anyone who isn't afraid to ask for it.

Now That You Know Me, Let's Connect

I hope you enjoyed learning a little about me, my passions, and my journey as a web designer and developer. I would love to get to know you and hear about your goals and any projects you're working on. Or, if you just want to connect for networking opportunities I'm all for that too! Let's talk soon.
